Copper Point Golf Club General Manager Brian Schaal, on behalf of the Board of Directors, is pleased to announce that kids age 12 and under will play for free on both the Copper Point and The Ridge Golf Courses in 2012. "The decision was an easy one for us to make. We want to continue our efforts to grow the game of golf," Schaal stated.
This program is designed based on the success of the program the National Golf Course Owners Association runs for one week in July. Copper Point will now offer it all year long. "We are extremely pleased that our Board of Directors came forward with an amazing offer for kids 12 and under this year," Schaal said with a big grin.

This has been a busy month for the maintenance department at the Copper Point golf courses. We were trying to open our courses for the Easter long weekend but due to weather conditions we didn't quite make it. We opened both courses on Easter Monday with both courses playing very well. Overall the courses wintered very well...

The Kelly Hrudey & Friends Charity Golf Classic will be held at Copper Point Golf Club August 15 & 16, 2012. This 2-day event will raise awareness & funds for youth - including AARC, Invermere Summit Youth Centre and local Elementary & High School Hockey Academy.
