Superintendents Report - January 2012

The start of January felt as though winter was put on hold for a couple of months. I was starting to doubt the credibility of our meteorologists. The long cold winter with heavy snowfall scenario that was forecasted was not evident in the Invermere Valley. We had experienced rain over the Christmas holidays and the freeze thaw situation I had mentioned in previous communications was in clear evidence.

Upcoming at the Copper Point Resort

Super Bowl Party
On Sunday, February 5th the Copper Point Resort is holding a Super Bowl Party in our Quartz Ballroom. We've got three 110" screens, door prizes, drink specials and a great menu.

Tickets are $5 for General Admission, $15 for 'Box Seats' (call for details or to purchase your tickets, 250-341-4000)

Special offer to the Copper Point Golf readers: Purchase 2 FOR 1 tickets - limited supply. Must be purchased by February 2nd and each ticket includes 1 pint of beer.

On Super Sunday all pints of beer are $3.50 and all highballs are $4.

Kelly Hrudey & Friends Golf Classic

The Kelly Hrudey & Friends Charity Golf Classic will be held at Copper Point Golf Club August 15 & 16, 2012. This 2-day event will raise awareness & funds for youth - including AARC, Invermere Summit Youth Centre and local Elementary & High School Hockey Academy. All of us at Copper Point Golf Club are very excited. You can follow the event updates on the website!
