Putting is something that can save every golfer strokes throughout the season, but can be especially important in the early season. We find most golfers will lose their putting posture to start the year causing them to be very inconsistent. A simple remedy for this issue is to align yourself with the ball as if you were going to hit a putt, take a ball out of your pocket with one hand and hold it between your eyes. You then drop this ball watching where the ball lands on the ground. Ideally the ball should land directly on top of the ball you intended to putt with, if it doesn't you now know if your eyes are inside your intended line or outside. You can now make the correct adjustment and test by dropping another ball from between your eyes.

As the month of May begins we can see the light at the end of the tunnel. The month of April was more like March with the exception of the Easter weekend. It is great to see so many golfers enjoying our courses again. As mentioned in earlier reports we have wintered well and with the higher temps and irrigation capabilities our courses are greening up nicely.
