Superintendent's Report February 2011

Here we are almost half way through February and Mother Nature has a way of keeping us on our toes. In my last report I explained that the weather we had experienced to date was great for turf health. We had a good blanket of snow protecting our courses from the cold temperatures and we had not received the freeze thaw situation that every superintendent dreads. However on January 15

it warmed up and started raining. It rained all day and we received 20mm of the liquid snow. Monday morning ...

Copper Point Resort

We are vary excited to share with you an update on the much anticipated Copper Point Resort! This incredible property located on The Ridge at Copper Point and neighbor to the Copper Point Golf Course has been making huge progress since it opened its sales center in May 2010 and within the year is looking forward to their Grand Opening this Spring!

Agreements have been signed, relationships grown into partnerships and construction started to come into the last phases of completion. It is all happening and developer Rohit Communities is proud to be a part of the Columbia Valley.
