Dear Parents and OLF Families,
Welcome to a new school year! We can't wait to hear the children's laughter on campus and look forward to seeing you at school on August 27! We missed you!
Our OLF Family is such a wonderful Learning Community, filled with faith, dedication, kindness and service to others! We are excited to start our school year and to formally introduce Father Mike and Father William to the students! Please note these important events listed below:
Ready? Set? Go!
1- 3 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 23, 2012
1. Supply Drop-off...
While teachers will be busy preparing for the first day of school, you will have an opportunity to briefly drop-off your child's school supplies at the classroom door. We understand that not everyone will be able to take advantage of this early opportunity, however, your participation will alleviate confusion and
congestion on the first day of school.
Concurrently, we are having a used uniform sale for your convenience. This will occur in the Falcons' Nest (located between McGowan Hall and the Falcons' Quad). Please ensure that your child has a complete school uniform in good condition. Items such as school pants, sweaters and P.E. shirts can easily show wear and tear over time! At OLF we take pride in who we are and it starts with a well-groomed appearance as outlined in our school policies.
3. Training for Traffic Parent Volunteers
1:30 p.m. during Ready? Set? Go!
If you are serving your volunteer hours as traffic volunteer,
this will be your required training session. Please make every effort to attend! 4. Training for Clerical/Classroom Parent Volunteers
