UPON RETURNING FROM EASTER BREAK....

Dear Parents and OLF Families,

With mid-April arriving, the next eight weeks feel like a race towards the finish line of a successful school year. Yet, our students have much to learn, before they can look forward to a summer break. Our agenda is full of important dates and events. Every effort is being made to communicate these in a timely manner for your to plan ahead:

We continue with Tuesdays as Spirit Days when students wear their red Spirit shirts & jeans! By now our students have learned that a "good deed" comes with this privilege! Our FAM food drive continues with dried goods, canned foods and non-perishable items.

Soon, we will be treated to the "BUGZ" theater play by our MAP students. This will be a special performance for all students and parents alike.

The OLF Ambassadors will represent the school for EARTH DAY at the San Clemente Earth Day Celebration. Our students will demonstrate their ecological know-how through games. Come by the booth for some face painting by our art moms!

If you are preparing with your child for the the Sacrament of First Holy Communion, please remember to attend the third or our series of meetings.

Do you know someone who is interested in our MAP class for next year? They are invited to our Kindergarten 101 Meeting. Our teachers will answer their pertinent questions about our MAP program.

Did you participate in the Annual Giving Campaign? If you did, we thank you and invite you to the luncheon we have promised all along. You will be contacted shortly for the event.

Blessings,

Mrs. Beate Nguyen, M.A. Ed.,

Principal

Uniform Check
Over the upcoming break, please check your child's uniform items to insure they are yours. There are several missing items that may have made it into the wrong backpack!
Thank you!
Do you know where your yellow envelope is ....?
Every Thursday, our yellow envelope comes home to you via your oldest child. If you are not receiving current and timely information, you may want to see what happened to it...! Please ensure that your yellow envelope is "delivered" promptly to you by your child. If not, maybe a kind parental reminder of our school-wide learning expectation as "effective communicators" might help! If you need a new envelope, you may request it from the school office for $5.00. Thank you for your support of our communication system!
