Open House Invitation!
| |
Dear Parents and OLF Families,
On Sunday, January 29th, we are opening our school doors to returning and new families for enrollment in 2012-2013. You, your extended family, your neighbors, your friends and any prospective parents are cordially invited!
Open House will start with Mass at 9 a.m. Following refreshments from hospitality at 10 a.m., you and your guests will be able to visit our OLF Science Fair held for the first time in McGowan Hall. Our students' science projects will be on display.
Inside McGowan Hall, you will also find the Admissions Table with information for 2012-2013 enrollment and applications packets. Furthermore, you can sign up for a guided campus tour with a Board member or current OLF family, or chat with your Principal. You and your guests will be guided through the school facilities and be able to talk to our outstanding teachers, friendly staff and exceptional student Ambassadors. Come and see your child's or grandchild's work proudly displayed in the classrooms.
Many of us have either experienced a quality Catholic school education first-hand and/or witnessed its positive impact in our children. It is important that our parish school be visible to all interested families with school-aged children in the larger San Clemente region. Our mission is to provide equitable access to a quality Catholic school education for every child who desires to learn about God.
Therefore, we all share the responsibility of upholding the beautiful OLF traditions by securing the legacy of a quality Catholic school education for many generations to come. Please take a few moments and introduce your family, friends and neighbors to our beautiful school! We look forward to seeing you on January 29th!
Mrs. Beate Nguyen, M.A. Ed., Principal

Gathering Party: Don't Forget to RSVP!!
| In last week's Yellow Envelope you received a Gathering Party Invitation in anticipation of the upcoming auction.
Our Gathering Party plays an important role in gathering Gala Auction donations as well as in gathering parents, alums and friends to socialize within the Falcon Community. Your support of the Gift Gathering Party will mean you will be donating an actual Gala Auction item and bottle of wine or champagne to help the Auction Committee prepare for the upcoming Auction. Your support will also mean that you will have the opportunity to meet new people, catch up with old friends, fellowship and have fun!
Our gracious hosts, Gillian and Rick Dodd, will be holding this time honored event at their home on February 10th @ 7pm. Please come join us for drinks and delights!

Where are all the Flower Pots?????
| Missing Flower Pots!!! Help!! We had a dozen blue and white ceramic flower pots that we have used for school events this past year. Our parents are so helpful when we do clean-up at our events that we are thinking that maybe someone took them home to store them for our next event since we are so short of storage space. But now we don't know who that is!!! If you know where our flower pots might be, would you let the office know? Thank you!! |
