Dear Parents and Families of OLF School,
I am writing to you on behalf of Father Jack and myself to inform you of an incident that occurred at OLF School over the past weekend. We are sharing this information with you to maintain clear and transparent communication at all times, and to signal that everyone's safety (students, faculty, parents, parishioners, staff, and visitors alike) is of the utmost importance to us 24/7.
This morning upon arriving, two school employees found the school's Faculty Lounge and Science Lab vandalized overnight. The police were immediately called in and they are currently investigating this event. We are very thankful that no one was hurt or injured, and are currently working with the authorities, Diocese and insurance company to ensure that everything is ready for the opening of the school.
Father Jack and I have full confidence in the local authorities and their professional work to help us resolve this unfortunate incident. We will share any additional news as soon as it becomes available, however, as with any active investigation, we have limited facts to share at this time. Please contact the school office directly to discuss any concerns you may have. A special thank you to everyone in the parish and school offices for their professionalism and support!
