Dear OLF Families,

OLF SCHOOL WELCOMES NEW PRINCIPAL

I am very pleased to announce that Beate Nguyen has accepted our invitation to be the principal of OLF Parish School!  Beate visited our school during the interview process and had the opportunity to meet with Julie Tipton and a number of our faculty and staff.  Beate was deeply impressed with the spirit and energy of our school community.  The search committee and I were deeply impressed with Beate's commitment to Catholic ePICducation and values.  She comes to us with a worldwide experience:  Beate was born in Germany, raised in Belgium, and has 16 years of global professional educational experience.  She was Vice Principal of a Catholic elementary school in the Los Angeles Archdiocese, and currently is Principal for the American International School in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.  She received her Master's Degree in Elementary Education with technology integration and social justice emphasis from Loyola Marymount Catholic University in Los Angeles.  Beate will be starting here on July 1st.  I thank the search committee for their wisdom and insight during this process.  Let us pray in gratitude to God for his providence for our OLF Parish School.
