A Note Regarding Uniforms | |
Spring Break is a terrific time to take a good look at your child's uniform. Many students have grown and shorts, skirts, pants, and shirts have all become too short. We are seeing a lot of holes in the boys' pants and a general untidiness. The uniforms will be the same next year so now might be a good time to look at replacing items or using our Used Uniform shop to help you through the year. A used unifom order form is provided today in your yellow envelope to place orders for used uniforms. The orders will be filled over the Easter vacation and distributed when we return from the break.
A note for the 2011-2012 year. There will be 2 additions/changes. We have selected a lined wind breaker coat with a hood for the cooler days. They are already available for purchase at True Grits. The PE shirt for grades 4-8 will be different next year. This will be the last year for the hibiscus shirt. The new PE shirt will have our new Falcon logo, created by Mr. Greg VonUrff, dad of Christina in 1st grade. THANKS SO MUCH! They will be available through True Grits this summer. |

Our Lady's Garden ... |
Our Lady's Garden is coming along. We have, with the help of 7th and 8th grade brawn, moved sizeable boulders, removed grass, unwanted plants and prepared the soil. We are now ready to plant. We are asking for your help in doing so. Please select a plant or two or three, from the plant wish list posted in Jr. High Grotto. Purchase them from a nursery, I went to Armstrong's. Bring the plants to Our Lady's Garden on or before Holy Thursday April 21st. Planting your gifts will commence after the Passion Play. Bring a shovel and have your child or children plant thier gifts. The more the merrier. Thank you, I know Our Lady surely thanks you. PS. If you are not able to check out the plant wish list, don't panic! Just know that Our Lady's Garden will be a drought tolerant garden and go from there. The list is so we don't max out on one specific plant. Variety is the spice of life. Be creative. Our Lady will make it work. PSS. I'm pretty sure Our Lady will except any plants any time. Thank you and God Bless. Ken Stratford
