Principal Search Committee

A search committee is asked to reflect and evaluate those candidates whom they believe are called to serve in the ministry of leadership.  Of course, discernment of such a call always is in the context of the community.  Ministry is never for its own sake; it is for the sake of the community.

Selecting A Catholic Elementary School Principal, William J. Campbell, S.M., Ed.D.

We have begun the principal search process.  It began with an initial meeting earlier this month with Sally Todd, Assistant Superintendent of Catholic Schools for the Diocese of Orange, and the co-chairs of the search committee, Fr. Jack Sewell, Pastor, and Jacqueline Goodreau, Consultative Board Chair.  Joining us will be several community members who are passionate about our school and parish. Each has agreed to give of their time and talents to serve on this committee.  They include:

Kathy Murphy, Faculty Representative

Darrin Vallone, Finance and Parent Representative

Mary Kingston, Pastoral Council Representative

Doug Batezel, Parish Representative and Catholic Schools Management Team Member

Tom Gyepes, Parent of Alumni Representative

We will keep you informed as we proceed through the search for a person with the leadership qualities to nurture the growth and development of Our Lady of Fatima Parish School.  We ask for your prayers that the Holy Spirit will guide us in our quest.

Fr. Jack Sewell
