 Thank you to everyone for your patience with the new drop off and pick up procedure. It seems to be moving slowly in the morning and there are many things YOU can do to help us. We would greatly appreciate it and it will allow the students to arrive on time.
- Leave early. We have been doing the new system for over a month so you are familiar and can allow for the extra time needed.
- PLEASE drive through to park if your child needs any extra assistance. This includes unbuckling, opening trunks & rear hatches, unloading backbacks, etc.
- Do let your child off a few cars back and not wait to be right next to the 1st grade modular.
- The traffic helpers (Olmos and Magra families) are arriving early and are set and ready by 7:30. Come early. There is assistance and supervision.
- Please help us reinforce to our students flexibility, pateince, timeliness, and responsibilty. If you arrive at the entrance to OLF at 7:50-7:55, your child will most probably be receiving a late slip. Learning begins at 8:00 sharp!
Thank you so much! When we have our new beautiful hall, we will all be thankful for the short inconvenience.
 Mark your calendars! In lieu of our winter parent meeting, we will have a "FAT" TUESDAY REVIEW and PREVIEW on Tuesday, March 8th at 6:30. There will be a USED UNIFORM sale at 6:00PM. We will begin the evening with a prayer service and then travel to your child(ren)'s classroom for a review and update. Then you will travel to next year's classroom for a preview. We will end with hospitality and social in our courtyard! See you then!

Construction Update | |
PRIMARY PLAYGROUND IS COMING!
Within the next couple weeks, we will see the completion of our new location and installation of the primary playground!

Absenses |  If your child is absent, please notify the clinic at kjohnson@olfschool.net or call 949-492-7320 BEFORE 9:00 AM. Thanks for helping us keep your children safe and minimizing follow up calls. |

Kindergarten Screenings | 
Helpers needed: Our Kindergarten screenings are February 24th from 9-11:30. They will be in the new modular building by the church office. Helping will consist of directing parents to the modular and offering hospitality while the parents wait during their child's screening. We are hoping to get at least 4 volunteers, two to help from 8:30 until 10:00 and two to help from 10-11:30. If you can help, please call the school office, 492-7320. Thank you!!

Consider donating a basket of merchandise, a few items from a product line, a gift certificate for services or place an ad in this year's program! More information and detail can be found on the Auction Donation form in the Auction drawer in the Clinic. Got Connections?
Do you or someone in your family know of a dog breeder who would be willing to support Fatima's Auction! There are several opportunities to contribute: We are looking for a donations of a purebred dog , dog training, kennel or veterinary services etc... Donation forms with instructions and information are available in the Clinic in the Auction drawer.
Gathering Party
Don't forget to join in the fun at the Gathering Party at the home of Rick and Gillian Dodd on Friday, February 25th at 6:30 p.m. There will be hor d'oeuvres and wine tasting!! Help us collect items for the Auction by bringing a bottle or two of your favorite fine wine and/or an item to donate (A $20 value please). There are flyers in the auction box in the clinic with the Dodd/s address and directions. Please RSVP to Sue Gibbs by Feb. 22nd at suzig@cox.net or 949 283-5986

1.)We are looking for someone to host Margaritaville for the Ladies of Fatima. We cannot let this time honored tradition fail us now. 2.)We are looking for someone who knows of a DJ or band who can perform at this year's Auction event. 3.)Do you have a timeshare, cabin or summer home you would be willing to donate for a long weekend or week?

After School Care | |
REMINDER!! After School Care bills are due on the 15th of each month. There is a late fee of $15 for ANY bill not received on or before the 15th. The $15 fee is NOT OPTIONAL. Late fees and non-payment of late fees cause extra work for us. Please pay your bills on time Thank you!! |

Uniform Sale/Donations | |
We are requesting donations for a used uniform sale that will be held on March 8th at 5:30 prior to the parent meeting. Please drop off your donations in the clinic between now and the strat of the parent meeting. |

School time appointments ... |  Parents, when you are signing your child out for appointments please make sure to put the time released in the proper column, and upon returning to school, the time admitted. If your child is not signed out as well as in or vice versa they will have an am/pm absence on their attendance for that day. Thanks for helping us to ensure that your child is accounted for at all times of the day. |

Books Are Fun | |
 The display will be in the outer office Monday Feb.7th until Monday Feb.14th. All items are discounted off the list price, so be sure to look at the order form for the great prices. All orders and payment must be put in the blue envelope on the rack by 9:00am Monday Feb.14th. Orders will be delivered the following day. 2011-2012 Pre-K / Kindergarten (MAP) Class |  Parents, if you have a child who will be ready for our program next year, please be sure to get an application in right away. We want to be sure we schedule our existing families for the readiness screenings which will be on February 24th. We cannot schedule you until we have a complete application. If your child's pre-school is conducting the screenings at their facility prior to ours, you may have your child take the screening there. Just be sure to have them send a copy of the results to us and have your application already on file in our office. |
| 2011 - 2012 Scholarships |
 Financial Aid for 2011-2012: IMPORTANT: ALL families needing financial assistance for next year MUST apply for aid through FAST. Even if you have received aid in the past, you MUST apply. OLF will begin looking at these applications soon. Even if you don't have the supporting documents at this time, please go through the process so that your request can be considered. All applications are done on-line. There are no paper applications to fill out. Please find the FAST link on the OLF website to fill out the application. There are large self-addressed envelopes in the office for you to send in your supporting documents. |
