Construction Update

Under Construction

GRADING HAS BEGUN!

Progress continues with the great weather we've been having recently.  The La Esperanza driveway has been removed and the asphalt pulverized for recycling.  Grading has begun to prepare the site for the pad for the new hall. Grading is also taking place for the new driveway across the old lawn area in front of the church.  We saw a significant savings in electrical power when we discovered "extra" power available when the modular building was torn down so we do not have to rent generators and pay for fuel to provide electricity to the school.  This power is also providing electricity to the new parish modular building which received its occupancy permit last week and is ready for use.  We have faced some challenges dealing with the lack of original site and utility plans.  The school patiently dealt with a break in the phone/internet connection in the ground that was not where it was shown on the plans.  The school and parish were also without water for several hours this week for the same reason.  Thanks to the parish and school staff for keeping the ministries going!  All is back up and operational.  Work has begun on relocating the playground equipment to the area around the flagpole, and grading will continue for the hall and driveway.

2011-2012 Pre-K / Kindergarten (MAP) Class

KindergartenParents, if you have a child who will be ready for our program next year, please be sure to get an application in right away. We want to be sure we schedule our existing families for the readiness screenings which will be on February 24th. We cannot schedule you until we have a complete application. If your child's pre-school is conducting the screenings at their facility prior to ours, you may have your child take the screening there. Just be sure to have them send a copy of the results to us and have your application already on file in our office.

Got Credit Card Rewards?

Or airline miles, or hotel club points?  Consider cashing them in as a donation for the Auction!  Many credit card reward programs offer gift certificates for restaurants, apparel companies, sports equipment, electronics and more!  Transferring your points into goods or services can typically be done online, quickly and easily.  Smaller donations can be grouped with other items while larger donations  can become a stand alone prize (golf clubs! ping pong tables! romantic getaways!)  All can result in big results for the school!  For any questions or guidance, please contact Eileen Da Cunha at tedacunha@cox.net or 949-291-3678. Thank you very much!

KEEP IN MIND THE WINE CELLAR......We still need bottles of fine wine to stock this fabulous prize - an auction favorite!  Wine (valued at about $20 or more) may be safely dropped off to the ladies in the Clinic.  Thank you!

After School Care

REMINDER!! After School Care bills are due on the 15th of each month. There is a late fee of $15 for ANY bill not received on or before the 15th. The $15 fee is NOT OPTIONAL. Late fees and non-payment of late fees cause extra work for us. Please pay your bills on time Thank you!!

Box Tops & Campbell Soup Labels

box tops I have GREAT news to share!  In the past 3 months, we earned our school over $200.00!  Thank you to all of the families who collected and sent in their Box Tops, ink cartridges, and Campbell's Soup labels!  Let's start off 2011 with a bang and earn more during the next few months!  We are going to start collecting old cell phones as well as the Box Tops, Campbell's Soup labels, and recycled ink cartridges for the remainder of the school year.  Recycled cell phones have the potential to generate a lot of money for OLF so look around and see if you have any old cell phones sitting around.  Ask your friends, family members, and neighbors as well!

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to call Joey Carlton @ 949-481-9360.
