How fun it is to see all the students and parents in their costumes at school today! The creativity was amazing! A VERY BIG THANK YOU to everyone who helped with our first "Trunk or Treat"! Thank you to the families who offered their cars as "trunks," for all the donations, and for your participation.

This school yearʼs annual auction will be held on Saturday, April 2, 2011 at 5:00 p.m. Our theme is Mardi Gras Madness and promises to be a fabulous party! Be sure to save the date for this evening of fun, excitement and Falcon fellowship.

| OCPAC Ten West Assembly |
With their signature blend of physical virtuosity and inventive comedy, Ten West engages audiences of all ages in a unique theatrical style inspired by vaudeville, commedia and clowning that is as poignant as it is humorous.
The Fracas Brothers: In an action-packed vaudevillian romp, The Fracas Brothers presents an honest look at the importance of conflict resolution, providing tools and creative solutions for resolving our differences. All are welcome to attend this wonderful Parents of Fatima sponsored assembly on Thursday, Nov 4th at 1:30 in the hall. Thank you POF! |

| Red Ribbon Week Student Incentives | |
Many local business are offering incentives through October 30th for students wearing their Red Ribbon Week wristbands. San Clemente Carl's Jr. restaurants are offering one free kids fry, no purchase necessary; SC Subways are offering a free 21oz. beverage with purchase of any sandwich, and; all Orange County Papa John's Pizza are offering one large one topping pizza for $8.88. To see a complete list of area incentives, visit www.duila.org and click on Red Ribbon Week in the center of the page. Also, if you see a Red Ribbon poster in business window, enter the establishment to receive an incentive/discount for wearing your wristband!

| Movie Tickets!! | |

We are selling movie tickets again. Unfortunately, Krikorian tickets are not available at this time. They have suspending the sale of the discounted tickets. We have Regal Premiere Super Saver tickets only. Tickets are $8 each. There is an order form with your newsletter today. Please fill it out, include payment and leave your order in the movie ticket drawer in the clinic. Orders received by Wednesday will be filled and sent home with your yellow newsletter envelope. If you do not want your tickets sent home but would rather pick them up in the office, please make a note on the bottom of your order form.
SCRIP: We are putting together the details to begin offering SCRIP to our families. We hope to have everything in place to help you with your Christmas shopping. More information next week. |
| Veteran's Day | |
Please join us for our Veteran's Day Prayer Service on Thursday, November 11 at 8:00 AM with special guests from the Camp Pendleton USMC battalion of 2/4. They will provide our color guard. We hope you will be able to join us for this wonderful tradition at OLF and we invite all our active and retired family members to join us in uniform that day so we may celebrate you.

| Special Persons Day | | Please plan on attending Special Persons Day on Friday, November 19th at 2:00. Students are encouraged to bring an adult to the prayer service that day and to the reception following in the hall. This is a wonderful way to kick off our Thanksgiving week of giving thanks for all the blessings in our lives. |

Save the date! Mrs. Nelson's Bookfair is coming to OLF November 3-11. There will be a great selection of books just in time for holiday shopping. We will also need help working the fair. | Box Tops, Campell's Labels, and Printer Cartridges |
Thank you to those families that have sent in their Box Tops and their Campbell's Soup Labels! These programs generate revenue to help our school. Collection sheets are available in the clinic. If you have misplaced your sheets or prefer, just send them in a Ziploc baggie. We are also collecting empty printer ink cartridges. If you have any, please place them in a baggie and send them in to the clinic with your child. Again, thanks for all of your support! Joey Carlton 571-331-4745
