Greetings!
Greetings from the School Board!
Are you called to serve?
A special meeting of the school board will be held on Tuesday, May 10, at 6:30pm in the school library, for the discernment of new school board members.
The board consists of 9 members who serve as an advisory panel to the Pastor and Principal. Board members serve on committees that help identify goals and shape proposed policies for our school. It is a volunteer position with no administrative authority. Board members serve a 3-year term, and we select 3 new members each May to replace members whose terms are set to expire.
The selection is done through a process of discernment. Associated with the virtue of prudence, discernment is a prayerful tool that allows the Holy Spirit to guide us in the decision to serve and the selection of those who will serve. By letting prayer and scripture guide this selection, we have a commitment that yields our attention, agendas, and actions to God.
The School Board is a ministry that exists for the sake of others, with the goal of serving our school. Please consider joining the board...be prayerful in your decision. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact any members of the Board, Dr. Everling, or Father John.

Year-end Surveys are coming...
Please look for the parent survey in May. Dr. Everling and the school board are deeply committed to achieving our school's Vision. We need measurement tools that offer an objective evaluation of our effectiveness. The parent survey, along with surveys issued to staff, students, recent graduates, and high school staff, will be used for long-range planning and the continual improvement of our children's education.
Your opinions and ideas are welcome and valuable. Don't miss the opportunity to be heard! Sincerely, |
