How can YOU impact maternal health in Haiti?

Our work in Haiti is only possible because of YOU. Here are some ways that you can support our life-saving work in Haiti:

----

Advocate

Does your community, medical practice or church know that every minute of every day a woman dies in childbirth? Do they know that Midwives For Haiti is changing that statistic for the Haitian women served by our trained graduates?

Volunteer

Qualified medical professionals can still apply to volunteer in Haiti in 2012.

Between January and October, teams of midwives, ObGyn physicians and labor & delivery nurses supplement the work of our Haitian instructors by serving as preceptors for our 16 students.

year. I am so grateful to each of you for caring about this work and for keeping our efforts in your thoughts and prayers. I honor those who have volunteered this year and those who have enabled our life-saving programs through generous gifts. Midwives For Haiti could not exist without you!

The video below, made by volunteer Dina Maria Munsch, captures the essence of Midwives For Haiti's impact. We hope that you will get a sense of the ways your gifts have allowed our graduates to better serve mothers in their communities.

Midwives For Haiti wants every mother in Haiti to have a healthy pregnancy and safe birth.Between now and May 13, we aim to raise $5,000 in monthly support for our work in Haiti, a total of $60,000. Please join us by renewing your commitment to our students, graduates, and to the hundreds of women they serve by making a monthly pledge.

Through your gifts, Midwives For Haiti can continue to be your hands and hearts giving life-saving care to mothers in Haiti.

Gratefully,
