Graduation
After ten months of classroom instruction and clinical experience, our 15 graduates are equipped to save lives of mothers and babies in communities across Haiti. In a ceremony entirely planned by the graduates themselves, family, staff and guests celebrated each new midwife.

Class Five...Coming Soon
The day after Class Four's graduation, Midwives For Haiti
 | |
Auxiliares and infirmieres eager for midwifery training demonstrate the need for skilled birth attendants in Haiti.
|
staff began selection of our fifth class to begin in January 2012. Sixty-seven auxiliares and infirmieres, hailing fromover 30 different towns traveled to Hinche to seek one of seventeen spots in our next class.
Hopefuls were interviewed over the course of two days by Executive Director, Nadene Brunk; In-Country Coordinator, Kirsty Bourret; and Clinical Instructor, Genette Thelusmond.
The number of interested candidates represents just a fraction of the men and women who could be trained to provide life-saving care. Your gift has the power to help meet this need.
