Clinical Trials

Greetings!

Michele As many of you may already know, MBCN lost two of our dear friends, colleagues, MBCN leaders and passionate advocates this past month. Suzanne Hebert, who had been serving as vice-president, died on May 30 and Ellen Moskowitz, president from 2006-2010, died on June 7.

One of our board members posted this remembrance.   Ellen and Suzanne were dedicated and hardworking advocates for all of us in the metastatic community and they will be missed.

If you would like to attend Ellen's memorial service, please email MDeckler@aol.com

Meet Samantha
Samantha
Samantha and Chewie.
Samantha Payne is our new Facebook volunteer. She's been doing a terrific job, posting interesting items and responding to others' comments. Here's a little bit about Samantha in her own words:

I'm 27 and was diagnosed metastatic from the get go in January 2011. I live with my dog Chewie in Portage, IN. I work full time as a hemodialysis technician and absolutely love my job. I enjoy learning new things, traveling, reading, baking and the beach.

I decided to volunteer with MBCN because I felt very alone after being diagnosed and MBCN provided not just comfort that I wasn't alone, but also knowledge to guide me through treatment and encouragement from reading the stories of other women who are thriving despite mets.
