DACC/Dempsey Middle School Students Are Stitching Sleeping Bags for the Homeless
DACC/Dempsey Middle School students in Nicki Wright's class recently led a building-wide service project with SHARE to stitch together sleeping bags for the homeless of Ohio. Many of these bags will be taken to Columbus shelters and be gone within a week due to the overwhelming amount of homeless men and women in need of something warm to sleep in during these cold months.

Thank You to Honda Marysville for Donating a Valuable Vehicle Lift to the Automotive Technology Program
Our Auto Tech students are thrilled to be using a vehicle lift valued at over $6,000 in their lab. This lift allows our students to work on industry equipment, making them more employable and saving employers time and money on training.
A photo and more details are available on our web site. |
Parents - if you feel strongly about telling others what a great education your student is getting at DACC, we want to hear from you. We are looking for current and past parents to provide written testimonials and a few parents to come in for a video interview. If you are interested in helping us with this project, please contact our Public Relations Coordinator at MowryA@DelawareAreaCC.org.
