Thank you to our sponsors!
We have been fortunate enough to gain the support of some fantastic sponsors. Please give them your support by checking out their websites.
You may have noticed that the title of our upcoming run is now the Greenlight Organic Go Green Saint Patrick's Day 5K/10K Run (say that 3 times fast!). Thanks to this new partnership, each registered participant in the run will be receiving a technical tee shirt made not only of wicking tech fabrics, but from recycled materials!
The mission at Greenlight Organic is
to raise awareness of the world child labor crisis and empower
consumers and corporations to make purchasing decisions that lead to a
better life for people around the world. By manufacturing clothing
in Fair Trade factories that pay adult workers a fair wage, Greenlight Organic ensures
that parents make enough to care for themselves and their children. By
using sustainable fabrics, they ensure that toxic chemicals aren't
harming people, animals or the earth we share. And by donating 5% of
each sale to UNICEF recognized charities, they ensure that a better life
is created for children and their families in rural and impoverished
areas across the globe.
 ROCKTAPE is
a performance enhancement tape and is designed for athletes that want a
little edge in their game. ROCKTAPE helps athletes manage fatigue by
promoting better circulation. All you have do is put ROCKTAPE on the
areas on your body that need a little help and you can go longer and
harder.

Our mission is two fold: One, to educate outdoor enthusiasts
(runners, cyclists, triathletes, skiers, snow boarders, kayakers,
walkers, and anyone that doesn't spend all of their time on the couch)
about the importance of wearing ID. Two, to provide these athletes with
innovative identification products that they will want to include as
part of their gear.
We are currently looking to fill several community sponsor slots, please contact sponsors@moshanproductions.com to find out more information about sponsoring this event, or any upcoming events.

I've never run before, how do I train?
Don't worry, if you never run a 5k before, or even 5 steps for that matter, there is still plenty of time for you to get ready to have a great experience. Follow the steps in the Couch to 5K program and you will look like you've been running for years. |

Going Green All Over
Green athletic events are becoming more popular as people realize the strain these events put on the Earth. Recently NPRs California Report profiled the Big Sur 1/2 Marathon and their efforts to be a green race. The efforts taken there are similar to those we are taking with our Saint Patrick's Day run. Listen to the report online by clicking here.
