Oakland Mills:

Take advantage of the nice fall weather and spend some time outdoors. Pack a picnic lunch and head out to Oakland Mills Park. The Oakland Mills Nature Center is open from 1:00-5:00pm on Saturdays and Sunday through mid-October. Check out the exhibits and learn about the Skunk River Valley, spend time on a nature trail, or visit the resident bobcat and red-tail hawks.

Litter Walk:

Want to make a difference in Henry County while enjoying the outdoors? How about a litter walk? Take a walk around one of the many local parks and pick up littler along the way. Wear gloves and bring a couple of trash bags. You would be surprised what a difference you'll make!

Greetings
We hope everyone is settling back into their school-year routines and enjoying the fantastic weather as we head into fall. Here at the Henry County Mentoring Program Club M is back in action with meetings in the Middle School cafeteria from 3:30-4:30pm every Wednesday. Our first Club M meeting of the year on September 12th was a great success with 38 mentors and 39 mentees in attendance.

Thank you to all of our new and continuing mentors for their service. The positive impact you all have on the lives of young people in Henry County is truly amazing!
