In Her Own Words
Eve, a Dress for Success Star

EveDress for Success has been a wonderful experience for me.  Last year, I "stepped up" from the Professional Women's Group (PWG) and am now an associate member.  Participating in the PWG has been especially impactful in my life.  The topics discussed at the PWG meetings changed monthly, but all had an underlying purpose, which was to empower us, the members. These meetings reminded me of the changes I was making and needed to continue to make to reach both my professional and personal goals.

The Professional Women's Group has helped me to grow, both professionally and personally. The PWG made me realize that living is not merely existing passively; I have choices and steps I can make towards achieving my goals.  The push I needed to go back to school and complete two Associate degrees was a direct result of the PWG.  Now, I feel more empowered and more focused to attain the personal and professional goals I have set for myself.

Dress for Success impacts women's lives in many positive ways by giving us the confidence that we can change our lives, which allows our progress to translate into progress for our families and friends. Dress for Success not only gives us some fabulous outfits but it also provides us concrete knowledge in workplace topics that help us move our careers forward and learn about ourselves.

I am part of Dress for Success, not only because they've helped me personally, but because I know they are strongly committed to helping women. Their commitment is unwavering. I am part of this organization because I want to see other women find employment and most importantly find their voices and inner strength.

As a lifetime member of Dress for Success, I will continue being an active part of this phenomenal organization!
