The Rod Shows Team would like to thank all of our sponsors, vendors, participants and attendees who made the 2011 show season a success. The 62nd Annual Kragen O'Reilly Grand National Roadster Show and the 61st Annual O'Reilly Sacramento Autorama continued to be the longest running indoor car shows in the world and could only do so with the involvement of so many people. We hope to see all of you and more at the 2012 shows!
SHOW HIGHLIGHTS
Over 50,000 people flooded the Pomona Fairplex January 28-30, 2011 for the 62nd Annual Kragen O'Reilly Grand National Roadster Show. With more than 600 vehicles inside all eight Fairplex buildings, and 1,200 more joining outside, all three days were needed to experience the entire event. Noted builders and hobbyists alike brought their latest creations to be displayed at the longest running indoor car show in the world. With participants and media representation from at least 12 countries, the buzz was well spread throughout the global hot rodding community.
The Customs: Then and Now exhibit was truly a historic gathering. It was packed wall to wall all weekend with custom car enthusiasts wanting to be in the presence of their favorite iconic vehicles. On Saturday January 29, Rod Shows hosted a Meet and Greet with noted custom car builders such as George Barris, Paul Bragg, Frank DeRosa, Bill Hines, Dean Jeffries, Rod Powell, Gene Winfield and many more.

The 61st Annual O'Reilly Sacramento Autorama made custom history again with 12 Cal Expo buildings filled with the hottest customs of the day. All weekend February 11-13, custom car enthusiasts were wowed by the vehicles on display. The weather was sunny all weekend, which helped make for the largest turn out to-date for the Autorama Drive-In. Builders, including Builder of the Year Robbie Azevedo of Pacific Coast Customs, brought their work to be shown at the "Kustom Capitol of the World."
Many remember the infamous hot rod movie, American Graffiti, and were thrilled to come see Bo Hopkins, Paul Le Mat and Candy Clarke at the show! In addition to the stars, parked behind them were the cars. Milner's Coupe could be seen and many fans brought its model to be signed by Milner himself (Paul LeMat).
