Masquers Playhouse
105 Park Place
Through October 1st
All seats $20
Purchase online
Fridays and Saturdays at 8 pm
Sunday matinees at 2 pm on September 11 &
By Charles Ludlam, directed by Robert Love
Featuring Peter Budinger & DC Scarpelli
Who is Irma Vep? That's the mystery at the heart of this outrageously funny tour-de-force. On a "dark and stormy night," Lady Enid arrives at an estate with her new husband, who is under the spell of his deceased first wife and haunted by something that's prowling the grounds. Strange things begin to happen around her and she soon discovers the mystery of Irma Vep, whose portrait hangs over the fireplace. A hilarious comedy that satirizes everything from Hitchcock and Victorian Melodrama to the great horror films of the golden age...

Gang of Four + 1 at NIAD
|
NIAD
553 23rd Street
FREE
Gang of Four +1 features two distinct exhibitions, a group show of NIAD artists featured in Create at BAM/PFA, and we're inaugurating our new Project Wall.
Work by Jeremy Burleson, Willie Harris, Marlon Mullen and Attilio Crescenti will be on display in the main gallery. Each artist has a small body of work in the Create exhibition, but we thought you should see more of their creative output.
In addition to the group show we're very happy to inaugurate our new Project Wall exhibition space, which is adjacent to the gallery. This new venue will highlight new and experimental studio projects. Jonathan Velasquez will be the first NIAD artist to transform the wall with an installation exploring his identity.
