Book Review

Everyone is welcome to participate in this event. Attendees are asked to bring a gently used or new "favorite" book that is wrapped
to exchange. Food and drinks will be ordered on an individual basis.
Book Review will resume its regularly scheduled meetings on Thursday, January 26th. We are reading War and Peace by Leo Tolstoy. The preferred translation is Penquin Classics Deluxe Edition translated by Anthony Briggs. To accommodate the length of the book and the holiday bustle, we will discuss Book One in January and Book Two in February.

Here's how it works: the hostess and co-hostess plan a menu. The co-hostess makes the main entree or meat dish and the hostess sets her table. Each attendee is assigned one item from the menu (i.e. appetizer, salad, drink, side dish or dessert). At the end, what each person spent is divided among the participants so the cost is equal. Please join us we love to see new faces!
