Gourmet Lunch

We are looking for a second house if anyone is interested.
A co-hostess is needed too!
Here's how it works: the hostess and co-hostess plan a menu. The co-hostess makes the main entree or meat dish and the hostess sets her table. Each attendee is assigned one item from the menu (i.e. appetizer, salad, drink, side dish or dessert). At the end, what each person spent is divided among the participants so the cost is equal. Please join us we love to see new faces!

A&E Presents:
A Shopping Night at Vintage Charm
Date: Thursday, November 17
Time: 6:30PM
Location: Vintage Charm, 729 W. Hillgrove, La Grange
After store hours, Vintage Charm will provide an environment just for you! Along with a private opportunity to browse store merchandise, they will offer style tips, decorating advice and an extra hand to find the perfect gift while you nibble on catered appetizers. Also keeping their doors open late for our shopping that night will be Y&Z Kids and Hammer Boutique, located just down the block on Hillgrove. All merchandise will be offered at a 10% discount. What a great way to kick off the Holiday Shopping Season while supporting our local businesses!
We will be collecting items for our charity Community Nurse...bring along cosmetic/toiletries, kids Band-Aids, or new hats/scarves/gloves (child or adult).
Also shopping with us this night will be St. Francis Xavier's Women's Club. To ensure a strong attendance for these stores keeping their doors open late, please don't forget to register!

 Charity:Secret Santa Toy Drive

It's that time of year again! As the holiday season approaches, many families in our community might be finding it hard to make ends meet. Please join LGAN as we help to make the holidays a wonderful time of year for families in our community that may be experiencing tough times this holiday season. On behalf of Community Nurse Health Association, LGAN is adopting 5 TEENAGERS this year in their Secret Santa drive. The teenage group is typically the hardest age range for Community Nurse to fulfill; therefore we will be looking to collect specific items from these teens' wish lists, or cash donations.
If you would like to contribute, please email Leah Werab, leahwerab@gmail.com with the dollar amount you wish to contribute, and whether you prefer a boy or girl, to be assigned specific items. The dollar amount and number of items is at your discretion.
Then bring your NEW and UNWRAPPED gift(s) or cash donation and
join us for cocktails and desserts on Friday, November 18 from 7-9PM at Kelly Kerr's House, 42 N. Park Rd., La Grange.
If you are unable to make the cocktail event, then contact Leah Werab to arrange another drop off time. All gifts must be in by Nov. 20th.
So many kids go without this time of year. Please help us any way you can so that these teens may have a very happy holiday!!

Book Review
Look for information in next month's newsletter regarding our Holiday Book Exchange on Dec. 8th. We will hold our next regularly scheduled meeting January 26th.

Playgroup
Date: Mondays (Except for Nov. 21)

Location: First Presbyterian Church of
La Grange, 150 S. Ashland Ave.
Cost: $3.00/per family visit
Start the week off with some playtime! Moms or caregivers with little ones can enjoy starting the week with fun and friends in the two toy-filled rooms. It's a great way to meet up with members new and old. Playgroup is a drop-in group, no RSVP required or any commitment - just come when you can. The cost is $3.00 per family per visit, toddlers and pre-schoolers.
