I am very happy to be sending you the September newsletter for Glory B Flower Essences. We have added the BioGenesis Products that I have used and distributed for so many years to our On-Line Store. Take a look at those as well as the new You Tube links that I'm in the process of adding to all of the products.  I have chosen videos that creatively explain the sensations and information that I associate with Glory B Flower Essences.  It has been a joy for me to find so many heartfelt songs and visual effects! In addition, you will also get a sense of my taste of music and my sense of humor along the way. Please note that I am not trying to promote a way of believing one way or another.... just finding a great many ways of expressing beauty, joy and information.

umbrellas

Create some breeze in your garden with umbrellas...
 
This year we had a late start in the vegetable garden.  The rain pattern during spring seemed to grow larger than usual weeds. Then we had the fire in the Santa Barbara foothills.  By July the sun was beating down on high weeds and dried out garden beds. I thought why not put an umbrella over an area for a bit of shade to work underneath?  Well that didn't seem like very much shade after all. So I had a flash to put out all of the miscellaneous umbrellas we happen to have... here and there. The surprised result was that the garden temperature seemed to cool down right away. From having multiple small shady spots there was a slight breeze throughout the whole garden.
 
You know how it feels in the shade when it's a hot sunny day... It seems as though a breeze moves in the shade due to the difference of temperature between the shady part and the sunny part.  This is what the multiple umbrellas did for the whole garden. This cooler air temperature helped the plants and the gardener feel cooler.  We could breathe a sigh of relief and the plants are now growing more easily... and yes the gardener feels more refreshed as well. Now the plants seem to be thriving. From this unexpected lesson I'll be planting trees soon to replace the umbrellas to balance the garden's environment.
 
In the future, we will more than likely have hotter temperatures on the planet.  It's time for all of us to start planting more trees where we garden to acclimate to the forthcoming changes.  This will create a cooler climate for the plants to live in. We will need to adapt our gardening methods to the coming new type of weather.
