Challenge Question
What is the largest energy use in the average home? In a commercial building?
Send responses and win an energy saving prize!
Last month's Question:
What is the approximate annual cost of a pilot light that burns on natural gas year round? The answer is:
For natural gas at $1.5 per therm the average cost for a pilot light is $12.75 per month or $153 average annual cost. For liquid propane at $3.00 per gallon the average cost for a pilot is $27.75 per month or $333 average annual cost. Combustion appliances with pilot lights are considered obsolete and investing in higher efficiency appliances is very cost effective!
And the winner is... Jason Meininger Come by the 4CORE office to pick up your energy efficiency kit! |
