HAVE A SIDE OF TROT WITH YOUR TURKEY!
Dear friend,
 Over 800 of your friends and neighbors have already signed up... so what are you waiting for? It's time to sign up for the 3rd Annual EverywhereUGO Turkey Trot event!
Here are just a few more reasons to join us on Thanksgiving morning:
 You could win a free pie from Grand Traverse Pie Company. Make sure you check your event goodie bag to see if you are one of the lucky winners. (Look for the slip of paper with the Grand Traverse Pie Company logo.- Free massages will be given to interested race participants before or after the event, so go all out!
- You will have an opportunity to bid on silent auction items or purchase a fleece Turkey Trot hat for only $10 (sounds like great stocking stuffers to me!)
- You're race time will be published in the Traverse City Record Eagle on November 26, 2010!
- You'll recieve an awesome goody bag, a limited edition Turkey Trot t-shirt, post-race refreshments, entertainment and pre-race singing of the National Anthem by students of Singwell Academy.
- And to top it all off, you'll also get the warm feeling inside knowing you're helping worthy causes- TART Trails, Children's Advocacy Center and YMCA! We were able to donate over $14,000 to the local charities last year and this year's goal to top that.
A few housekeeping items to make you aware of... - Packet pick-up at the Holiday Inn is from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, November 24, 2010 and again on day-of the event starting at 7:00 am.
- Online registration will end at 11:59 pm on Monday, November 22, 2010, so we can compile all of the registrations for event-day. All registrations after that time must be either at packet pick-up or on the day-of the event.
- Race starts at 9:00 am, but it's advisable to get there early to find parking, browse the silent auction table, socialize with other participants and have fun.
- Don't for get to bring canned goods for the Trinity Lutheran Food Pantry. Even if you are not doing the events, canned goods may be dropped off at the Hoiday Inn West Bay.
