Why Help at the CSC Casino?

Once every two years, the CSC has the privilege of working a Casino
and generating funds for use in our club

All Casinos are governed by the AGLC and only approved non-profit organizations can use them to funds

With over 19,000 non-profit organizations in the province of Alberta, having a Casino for fundraising is a privilege the CSC does not want to lose!

Casino revenue is by far the largest source of CSC revenues.
At our current membership levels, Casino funding is well over 300% greater than the revenue generated by membership dues

Even though the AGLC tightly restricts the uses of Casino funds,
all members of the CSC benefit from them

This year alone we have spent well over $20,000 in Casino funds

Some of the items we have been able to fund include:

CSC Website
A complete redesign and overhaul this year

Promotion and Advertising costs
For our Open Houses in September and November
the purchase of our CSC tent and new promo boards for use at all events

Ski Advocacy
Costs for meetings with Parks Canada, Kananaskis Country, and many others

Tracksetting

Fees for training Downhill and Cross-Country Coaches

Cross-Country ski equipment for our children's programs

Registration/Affiliation fees

Portion of our office administration and office equipment costs

Without these Casino funds,
the CSC would have to dramatically change our programs and fees.

To keep these important funds coming our way
we need YOUR help as a volunteer
So Pick a Job, Pick a Shift and Help Out CSC today
