CSC Update!

  Greetings!

Well we're already through half of March and there's still lots going on with CSC. We're back from an amazing weekend in Jasper with 30 cm of new snow to play in, check out the pictures on the CSC gallery for all the fun we had. March 7th was our signature race the Lake Louise Loppet and our Nordic group again pulled off an wonderful race! Congrats to all those that participated. We have our complete Loppet results already online. A special thank you to all of our sponsors, hotels and volunteers who helped to make it possible.
Speaking of Volunteering, we're already taking registrations for our Casino fundraising days coming this June. CSC is lucky to have 2 great dates so sign up today with the office and make next season's events are even better.

We're also in the mood to party this spring so it's socials, socials and more social occasions! Our popular dinner social is later this month, and coming early April is a great night at Aussie Rules piano bar. Should be a blast and limited spaces available so register early!

We're pleased to start planning our BIG celebration for May 15th. CSC "Black Diamond" 75th anniversary at Shaw-Nee Slopes Golf Course. Make sure to save the date! More details will follow on this great gala. If you'd like to volunteer for this event please see below!

Our club is volunteer run and next month comes our Annual General Meeting and Elections. We've been excited by the feedback of all the changes we've done to CSC but there's more to come next season. If you'd like to be part of that change and like to volunteer for next season to keep CSC exciting and fun, then stay tuned for our special AGM bulletin coming soon. You'll find out all the opportunities and positions available!

Happy March Break everyone!
