Happy New Year!!  Hope you had a great holiday and found lots of ski and snow shoe gear under your tree!  2010 is only a few days old and already it's shaping up to be a great year.  Snow conditions are excellent and our nordic, downhill and snowshoe programs are in full swing.  CSC has something for you whether you're one plank or two or prefer to snowshoe!

The buzz is just getting started as we lead up to CSC's "Black Diamond" 75th Anniversary in May 2010.  We are starting to get a volunteer committee together to plan for this important milestone for Calgary's most experienced ski club.  Stay tuned to CSC Update! for more information coming soon.

The CSC Holiday Party at La Casa D'Italia was a resounding success.  The cosy oak paneled private dining room complete with blazing fire set the stage for an entertaining evening full of laughter and good cheer.  CSC members enjoyed a delicious three course Italian dinner, fine wine and yummy deserts as we shared in the spirit of the Holiday season.
 
Door prizes were awarded and a centre piece draw raised $200 for the Calgary Branch of the Canadian Disabled Skiers Association.  Congratulations to all of the winners and thanks again for supporting such a worthy charity.
