Managing Your Priorities, Time and Life
If you ask many people how they maintain their productivity with their increased responsibilities, fewer resources, and increased pressures on their time, they say that they set priorities. If you ask their managers how well they are making best use of their time, they say their staff makes the wrong decisions about what priorities they should focus on. Whoa - this seems like something is wrong. We seem to have a disagreement on how to set priorities and focus every minute of the day on establishing important and valid priorities with some guidelines. Let's discuss some ways that you can make the best use of your time and resources
Prioritization is the essential skill you need to make the very best use of your own efforts and those of your team. It's also a skill that you need to create calmness and space in your life so that you can focus your energy and attention on the things that really matter. It is particularly important when time is limited and demands are seemingly unlimited. It helps you to allocate your time where it is most-needed and most wisely spent, freeing you and your team up from less important tasks that can be attended to later, or quietly dropped.
With good prioritization (and careful management of de-prioritized tasks) you can bring order to chaos, massively reduce stress and move towards a successful conclusion. Without it, you'll flounder around, drowning in competing demands. Let's learn about the most popular prioritization tool. Read more...

How Good is your Time Management? How Productive are You?
We have some self-assessments that will yield you valuable information. When we want to get more done, many of us simply work longer hours, move deadlines around and multi-task. Although these strategies can provide some short-term relief, they aren't sustainable in the long term. Pretty soon, this approach becomes a way of life, leading to high levels of stress and eventually, poor productivity.
Productivity is a measure of how much you accomplish - not how busy you are. So it's far better to learn how to work intelligently, and to use leverage to achieve more with your times and resources.
This quiz below will help you understand how productive you are and in what areas you need to focus. Read more...
