"If I Only Had One Chance to Tell You..."
Inspiring and Encouraging Real Life Stories
(For people like you, by people like you)
Ok. this has taken WAAAAAY longer than anticipated... I thought it'd be complete by end of 2010. And it's not. :)
I do, however, have the first draft of this little e-book (or I may end up getting it printed) started and out for review to the contributing authors who have submitted their stories so far.
If you were thinking about submitting a story, and still want to, I will leave the option open until January 31. Less than 2500 words, you can add an author bio and contact info if you wish.

| QUOTE OF THE DAY |
Whatever course you decide upon, there is always someone to tell you that you are wrong.
There are always difficulties arising which tempt you to believe that your critics are right.
To map out a course of action and follow it to an end requires courage.
Ralph Waldo Emerson

CIDE - When killing is useful.
|
Suicide. Homicide. Pesticide. Genocide. Spermicide. Fratricide.
Those are all words about killing. When I had this conversation with my doctor (IncarnationalHealing.com), counselor, and friend, Dr. Kim Schmidt, she asked me -
How about deCIDE?
I kind of reeled back inside myself. Well, the other words are clearly about killing something. What's the deal with deCIDE?
So we talked, and I looked it up. In Latin, it comes from the words "to cut off."
It made me think. There are times that I didn't "kill" things when I could have. Or I didn't "cut off" a situation soon enough, and it ended up causing pain or problems in my life.
How many times have I put off a decision? Or I've neglected making a choice? And sometimes, that cost me, because I missed a deadline. Or had an extra fee. Or hurt someone that I loved. How many times have I chosen indecision and just let something float or fester? Just because I didn't deCIDE?
More than I'd like.
After that conversation, I started paying attention to my choices and decisions. As you deCIDE something, you are cutting off something else. You are cutting off another alternative. You are, in fact, committing.
And committment can be difficult, and a pain in the butt. For me, God has used a call to deCIDE and be committed as a way to grow and learn. And it hasn't been easy. And I still mess it up. And I'm way ahead of where I started.
So, just for this week, be aware of your decisions, or your hesitation to make them. See how you're thinking or feeling as you avoid making decisions. See how it feels to make one and go with it, even if you're not 100% sure of how it'll turn out.
You can make a very healthy choice to kill something. Kill something that is not good for you - ignoring your finances, lack of exercise, lack of sleep, addictions, sick relationships.
Kill something that you know hurts your relationships - workaholism, not knowing how to really talk to each other, lack of quality time.
Kill something that is slowly killing you - stress, poor health, abusive relationships, your indecision...
deCIDE. The way to make this successful is to deCIDE to do something else to fill the void. deCIDE to do some things in a more positive way, get yourself some new tools, get yourself some information and education, MAKE time to spend with your family, build the courage to have that intense conversation you've been meaning to have.
Make a commitment by making a decision.
On that thing you've been putting off. deCIDE and move forward! Building you up - Ana-Christina

Our team was so impressed with your professionalism and method of delivery. In fact, your insightful real life stories turned out to be the highlight of the training. You were able to speak to our team in a language familiar to them and to provide them with the tips and techniques with which most everyone needs to be reminded. Our team met shortly after the training and was energized and had an increased level of confidence in their ability to tackle every day stress!

power as a coach comes from her profound ability to draw out your inner
most passions and beliefs and weave them together in such a concise way
that you can carry them with you every single day.

love of what she does -- helping us find and connect with our authentic
selves and desires -- is infectious and compels you to engage with both

What is coaching? Coaching is not
therapy or counseling. One analogy is: "Therapy is like helping
someone with a broken leg to walk again. Coaching is helping them to
run the four minute mile." Tony Grant - Sydney University.
My Legacy Coaching, LLC - I help people to learn to live unregretted lives.
My passion is to give people the HOW tools to move and grow in direction of building the life they REALLY want. I help people who are feeling stuck.
Instead of just surviving or "hanging in there,", I help my clients to thrive in their personal and/or professional lives. I help them with balance, perspective, and resilience.
A willing heart does not stay stagnant while working with me.
You tell me what you are looking for (if you don't know, I'll help you uncover it), I share tools, and then I encourage and inspire and hold you accountable.
Encourage = to give heart. Inspire = to give breath; to give life.
If you are ready to explore your options with coaching, or think a friend or family member might be ready, call or email me! I offer a 20-30 minute free exploratory session to all new clients to answer questions and let them see how coaching might work in their lives.
