Dear Friends and Family,
As many of you know, September is Recovery Month. A recent review of SAMHSA's National Surveys on Drug Use and Health reveals some startling facts. According to this data review, more than 23 million people need treatment each year, but only 10 percent receive it! Not only is addiction a national epidemic, it is a largely untreated and hidden one. Recovery month is a reminder that we still have a long way to go in educating the public about the disease of addiction, its prevalence, its impact on communities, and the need for more accessible, quality treatment and recovery services. At Next Step Recovery, we are busy planning our Golf Fore Recovery fundraiser at the Grove Park Inn. We are promoting our tournament in a variety of ways - and using every opportunity to raise awareness about the needs of those in recovery. We would like to invite you to join us as we Golf Fore Recovery (please read our article below). And we wish you well in all of your recovery efforts, which touch so many lives. Warmest regards, Susan Stader We |

 Golf Fore Recovery
Next Step Recovery will host our third golf tournament on October 30, 2011, at the Grove Park Inn. We have selected a best-ball format to encourage families to play together. No handicap is too high, including never having golfed before. This is a shotgun start tournament, so everyone will get out and start having fun right away. Your $85 registration fee includes 18 holes of premier golf, lunch, snacks and drinks, and a tournament goody bag. We will also be hosting a silent auction and raffle and will have several golf contests throughout the day. Click here to register online: Golf FORE Recovery |
