Next Step Recovery for Women
|
Next Step Recovery for Women is continuing to accept applications for women who have been sober for at least 30 days and who are seeking the additional recovery support provided by our highly structured, supportive and beautiful living community. Many of our residents are referred to us by residential and outpatient treatment programs who recognize the value of extended residential recovery care.
Some of the unique features that set our program apart from other transitional living programs and half-way houses include:
· Our beautiful houses, formerly a spa with Japanese gardens, nurture women recovering from trauma · 24-hour on-call support from a licensed counselor · Full-time onsite supervision by a multidisciplinary team of licensed counselors and support staff · Onsite recovery support groups, including relapse prevention and life skills training · State of the art saliva testing for drugs and alcohol

Next Step Recovery for Men
|
Next Step Recovery for Men is located just 5 minutes from downtown Asheville, NC. Since 2006, Next Step Recovery for Men has provided the same services we now provide to our women residents in Weaverville, NC. In January 2010, our men's house was featured on local station URTV which aired a 45-minute video called "The Face of Addiction" with interviews of current residents and graduates. The goal of this project was to educate the wider community about the disease of addiction through personal interviews. Our deepest gratitude for this project goes to Pete Blackshaw of Lakehouse Music who, along with his cameraman and video editor, donated countless hours to this project.
