St. Louis County Businesses Hit Hard

tornado

Last week, President Barak Obama named St. Louis County one of five Missouri counties included in the federal major disaster declaration. As such, federal assistance is available including FEMA disaster grants for homeowners and low-cost disaster loans for businesses through the Small Business Administration (SBA).

Businesses (private and non-profit) may borrow up to $2 million to repair or replace damaged or destroyed real estate, equipment, inventory, and other business assets.

For small businesses and most private, non-profit organizations, SBA also offers Economic Injury Disaster Loans to meet working capital needs caused by the storm. It is available based on economic injury.
