Your Monthly Update on Rates and Industry News

February 2010

Last month, we sent the first of the new Business Finance newsletters, highlighting changes to the SBA 504 and other finance tools. In addition to the quarterly newsletter, we have launched a brief monthly e-blast giving you what you need to know in a condensed format.

Last September, the Small Business Jobs Act of 2010 was signed into law, temporarily expanding the Small Business Administration's (SBA) 504 loan program to include refinances. Designed to retain and create jobs, help small businesses, and stabilize commercial real estate values, the program will first help those small businesses most in need of assistance and facing potential foreclosure before extending it to include businesses with balloon notes and those with substantial cash flow benefit. Below is a link to the SBA 504 Debt Refinance Seminar, which provides more insight into the changes.
