As part of St. Louis County's commitment to small businesses, County Executive Charlie A. Dooley has issued bonds to enhance the Enterprise Centers. Over the next three years, renovations will include improved work spaces, security, parking, air conditioning systems, aesthetic improvements, and structural repairs.
"Small businesses have played a significant role in growing economies and creating jobs," said Dooley. "Because of St. Louis County's commitment to small business owners, we provide many resources like our strong incubators to help them succeed." |

Why We're Here: InStyle Software
| InStyle Software founders Steve Smith, Sergio Prusky and Diego Prusky | In 1997, Steve Smith, Sergio Prusky and Diego Prusky launched InStyle Software. After a difficult economy following 9/11, the team began diversifying to include a digital marketing division, which is now 60 percent of the company's business.
"St. Louis Enterprise Centers has provided us with many resources at a very low cost, allowing us to focus our revenues on growing our business," says Smith. He says the company also benefits from free onsite seminars and relationships the Enterprise Centers has helped forge. "This type of support, contacts and networking is a benefit that was brought to our door without us even having to ask."
Overall, Smith views the Enterprise Centers as their strongest local business partner. "St. Louis Enterprise Centers provide resources and expertise that would otherwise cost thousands of dollars. These savings allow companies like ours to reinvest in growing our products and services." |
