Monthly Rate and Benefits
March's SBA 504 rate has dropped slightly to 5.4 percent for a 20-year fixed term and 4.4 percent for a 10-year fixed term. Both are "all-in rates" and include fees.
One fo the SBA 504's many benefits is its low equity injection, which keeps cash available to support businesses' continued expansion. For example, a $500,000 investment in a new building allows the owner to save $50,000 in equity (versus the typical $100,000 required under conventional financing). Borrowers appreciate saving the money to invest in a number of other business-related needs.
