Greetings!
Is it any wonder we treasure our friends and colleagues? Trying to keep track of so many scripts, so many events, so many... everything - sometimes we can overlook the obvious. BUT, because we have wonderful friends, we are kept on our toes. Our friend and colleague Susan Harrington dropped a note recently asking, "How can I order more than one script at a time by mail?" Now, each selection in the JAC Catalog has its own downloadable order form... but we never offered one for multiple selections. Ask and ye shall receive!
On the NEED side of things, please visit the NEED section below to find out how you can customize these mailings to contain only what you're interested in reading! |

New Releases
New from playwright Michael Halperin is Freedom, Texas. Completely unlike Halperin's first JAC dramatic selection, The Spark of Reason, set in 1654, this comedy takes us to the year 1953. 18-year-old Los Angeles college student Steve Weisbart drops out of college after he's offered an unlikely job as a disk jockey/announcer at a small town. This 1000-watt radio station in the Texas Panhandle specializes in broadcasting to passing semis on their way to deliver cattle in Oklahoma, and the town has its share of greed, lust, evangelists, bigotry - and some goodness, too. Steve discovers that not all is as it appears in Freedom, a name that is a clue to the town's past and future. Single set. 4 men and 2 women in the cast, with voiceovers. This title is available directly through JAC, as well as online at Amazon.com.
By your request, we have started the slow process getting all of JAC's titles onto Amazon Kindle. It's going to take some time, since we prioritize getting NEW titles out first, but we have released the following since last we spoke: The Youth Theater Director's Handbook by Maureen McIntyre and Lane Riosley, and A Fairy's Tale by Brian Mitchell. Check'em out (if you're Kindle-inclined)! For more information about this or any of JAC's play selections, visit us online, or drop us an email! |

Using Constant Contact has really helped us get information out easily to everyone on our distribution channels. New England Entertainment Digest is now over 30 years old (in the Charest Family since 1995!), and now enjoys far more visitation as a website than it ever did when it was a print publication. We are truly thankful for your continued support! Which is why we want to make sure you're please with the service we're trying to provide by taking our communications a step further.
We know not everyone hearing from us is interested in our play releases and news from JAC Publishing - some of you want to hear only about Auditions and/or Shows. Your requests have been heard. To control exactly what you receive from us, please click the link below that says "Update/Profile". You will be directed to a screen where you can select "JAC Updates", "Audition Info Only" and/or "Production Info Only". Once you've determined what you'd like to be sent, that's what you'll receive! Easy as pi!
Would you like to be featured in the NEED Feature slot? Drop us a line to find out how! If you'd like your event/production listed or featured on the NEED website, please email your request and we'll get it launched asap.
