WHICH IS THE SUPERIOR SEX?
Battle of the Sexes -- Recap
STAT (Students Today, Alumni Tomorrow) Event

On Wednesday, September 5, our student organization, STAT, held its first official event of the academic year, Battle of the Sexes. IPFW students came to the Alumni Center for an evening of free ice cream cones, snacks, and games that tested both their brains and brawn to determine which sex is really superior.

The teams were neck and neck until the trivia game "Battle of the Sexes," where the ladies took the lead with 300 points. But after several rounds of tug-o-war, the men won the battle with 4,210 total points, beating the ladies by 100 points.

  1. Laddan, secretary of STAT, celebrates her victory at the card game Speed.  2. The girls had a good time coloring outrageous male and female mastodons.  3. One of the evening's hits, the mastodon stomp.  4. The men beat the women at IPFW and college trivia.  5. Mitch, president of STAT, trying to win his round of mastodon stomp.  6. Other games included tilt-a-cup, where you must place a ping pong ball in the bottom of a cup and stack another cup on top. That is repeated 10x.  7. Paul, vice president of STAT, gave the ice cream cones two thumbs up!  8. The final game was tug of war, the men beat the ladies every round.  9. Some of the girls showing off their creations.  10. IPFW alumni Matt, Heather (IPFWAA treasurer), and Steve* (IPFWAA past president) volunteered their time to serve ice cream. *not pictured.
