Do You Care Enough to Run in the Buff?
IPFW's 4th Annual Nearly Naked Mile
Wednesday, September 19 [6 p.m.]
IPFW Main Campus -- Alumni Plaza

2011 Nearly Naked Mile

Last year, almost 250 students joined our student organization STAT (Students Today, Alumni Tomorrow), IPFW Intramural Sports, and Indiana-- Purdue Student Government Association (IPSGA) to raise more than 400 articles of clothing that were donated to the Fort Wayne Rescue Mission. We would love to have more alumni involved in this event, but fear not you do not have to run the mile nearly naked, nor do you even have to run the mile. Walking it is perfectly acceptable. Unable to participate? Promise to donate your gently used clothing!

Our goal is to offer a fun and unique clothing drive that draws attention. So please, join us and
help those in need!

Hosting a Favorite Three River's Festival Event
Ice Cream Social and Band Concert - Event Recap

On Monday, July 16, more than 800 people came to IPFW's Science Mall for an evening of live music, ice cream, and a baton twirling performance by Miss Three Rivers Festival, Rachael Bazzell.

Northeast Indiana Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (NISTEM) provided fun and educational demonstrations for children of all ages while our student organization, STAT (Students Today, Alumni Tomorrow) offered fun games and prizes for the kids.

Overall, the event was very successful and we look forward to hosting the annual Ice Cream Social and Band Concert during next year's Three Rivers Festival. Be sure to mark, July 15, 2013, on your calendars!

Paul Hastings, vice president of STAT, enjoying three scoops of cookies-and-cream in a sugar cone.  4. The music may have been a little loud for this young fan.  5.
