We are very pleased to announce that Bob Prentice & Sandra Surbrugg have agreed to serve a two year term as campaign co-chairs.
Bob Prentice, pediatrician at the Cheyenne Children's Clinic, and Sandra Surbrugg, dermatologist at the Cheyenne Skin Clinic, have lived in Cheyenne for more than 35 years.
Bob came to Cheyenne in 1973 after 3 years in the US Air Force in Okinawa, Japan as a pediatrician. He also spent three years at the American Academy of Pediatrics in Chicago.
Sandra was a lifelong resident of Lamar, CO until coming to Cheyenne in 1975. After attending medical school and completing a residency in dermatology in Denver she opened her dermatology practice in 1988.
Community service has always been a "must" with both spending time as presidents of the local hospital medical staffs and on boards in the community. Giving back to the community that has supported them is important.
"United Way multiplies the effect an individual can have, expanding the impact on life in Cheyenne. We think that everyone needs to do something to make Cheyenne a community that cares."
We are also very happy to announce that Tim & Kathy Joannides have signed on for an unprecendented third year as campaign co-chairs.
Tim, President of Halladay Motos, began his automotive career in Illinois and also lived in Arizona prior to coming to Cheyenne in 1983. He is active in the community and has served as a board member for the Chamber of Commerce, LEADS, and the Wyoming Auto Dealers Association. In addition, he has shared expertise with many organizations in the community.
Kathy, also born and raised in Illinois, has dedicated years of service to the community. Many of her volunteer activities have benefitted Cheyenne Regional Medical Center.
Both Tim and Kathy bring the same dedication and passion to their community and church. They are active members of the Greek Orthodox Church in Cheyenne. |
