"Roadburn is excited to announce that Germany's Kadavar is confirmed for Roadburn Festival 2013 on Friday, April 19th at Het Patronaat in Tilburg, Holland.

Kadavar is currently gaining momentum as one of the hottest underground bands around. Their thunderous take on 70s psych, doom, prog and stoner rock goes far beyond mere Pentagram, Sir Lord Baltimore or Black Sabbath worship. Of course there is a kinship with the aforementioned greats, and it would be easy to mistake Kadavar's recently released and impressive self-titled debut album with a long-lost, heavily sought-after relic unearthed from a charnel vault. But there's more than just a visceral communion with the riff going on here. The screech and wail of distorted guitars, heavy blues rock shouting, and grit-laden clouds of twisted soul constitute the real reason to immerse yourself in Kadavar's chugging yet soaring and distorted psychedelica. Kadavar's immediate power and conviction will transport you to proto-metal oblivion!

Roadburn Festival 2013 will run for four days from Thursday, April 18th to Sunday, April 21st, 2013 (the traditional Afterburner event) at the 013 venue and Het Patronaat in Tilburg, Holland."

On the first week-end of August (02.08.-05.08.) Kildemose Festival on Fyn (DK) will take place! This small but very nice festival has become increasingly important to the Danish Garage and Psych Rock underground scene. Beautifully situated at the grounds of an 127 years old brewery this time-warp back to the 70s attracts 300-500 hippies each year for 3-4 days of relaxation and funny ways of walking. This year's edition presents an ever impressive array and great mix of international and national bands including MM-bands Fuzz Manta, Dirty Old Town, Reverend Shine Snake Oil Co. and Syreregn as well as our friends The Flying Eyes, Øresund Space Collective, Bite The Bullet and Baby in Vain among many others!

Last year three great Danish rock and roll bands disbanded: Cherry Overdrive, Wrong Side of Vegas and Highway Child. Members of the latter two groups, however, now play together in a new project called DIRTY OLD TOWN. Morten Christensen, singer and rhythm guitarist of Wrong Side of Vegas, didn't hesitate long after the break-up of his band and wrote a handful of great songs. For the realisation in the studio and in concert Morten enlisted his former band mate Torben, as well as Paw, Christian and Andreas of Highway Child! Together they recorded the EP 'The Road' and soon  they also began to to perform on Danish concert stages. "The Road" offers electric folk-and country-rock à la Neil Young and Wilco. Since May 2012 the EP, which gets excellent reviews in the Danish press, can be downloaded for free on Bandcamp. The group's concert repertoire consists of new and old songs, and the performance is just as convincing and powerful as the best moments of Highway Child and Wrong Side Of Vegas! When the first demos landed in our mailbox, we were barely able to hide our enthusiasm for Morten's songs and the band so we are surely very proud to work with DIRTY OLD TOWN! In October Morten will play the tour support for the entire One-Eyed Mule Germany tour as solo-act under the name DIRTY OLD TOWN! For spring 2013 we are planning a German tour with the full band line up!
