We are pleased to announce the expansion of RJ Pile, LLC and the opening of a second office in Hamilton County, Indiana effective October 1, 2012. RJ Pile has acquired a small business tax and accounting practice owned by John Chaniga. Our new office, located at 499 South 9th Street in  Noblesville, Indiana will be managed by John.

 

Founded in 1938 by Roy J. Pile, RJ Pile is a Certified Public Accounting firm providing tax, audit and consulting services to mainly Indiana-based, privately-owned businesses, high net-worth individuals and Indiana not-for-profit organizations. RJ Pile is also a member of PKF North America, an association of legally independent firms, which gives them access to the resources, experience and professional knowledge base of independent accounting firms, while still providing the level of service and attention that only a locally-owned, independent accounting firm can offer.

 

RJ Pile's main office is located in downtown Indianapolis in the Region's Bank building. It is one of the oldest local CPA firms in the city and will celebrate its 75th anniversary in 2013. With thirty employees, including six directors, RJ Pile also has a subsidiary, Pile Wealth Management. The merger and opening of an additional office will allow RJ Pile to better serve existing clients and enhance the services that Chaniga can bring to his clients.

John Chaniga
John has maintained his practice in Noblesville for approximately twelve years. Prior to opening his own office, he worked for R.J. Murphy and Associates and Katz Sapper and Miller in Indianapolis. John has been involved in several non-profit organizations acting as treasurer and currently serves on the finance committee at St. Pius X Catholic Church and is a member of the Noblesville Kiwanis Club.  He is a graduate of Indiana University in Indianapolis and enjoys sports, winemaking, and family.

 

John and his wife Theresa, who is also part of his team, have been friends of RJ Pile for many years and we have worked together on mutual client service projects. The Directors of RJ Pile and John and Theresa Chaniga are enthusiastic about the decision to officially combine our two firms. We expect to provide John's current clients a broad base of support and technical resources in the same manner you have come to appreciate from us.  John brings us opportunities with his 28 years of experience in small business accounting, financial reporting, payroll processing services, and tax support.

 

 

John will be the Director of our Noblesville office. Our Indianapolis Directors will remain the same as they are now, namely: Carol Howard, Mike Winslow, Neal Clements, Mike Harpring and Bob Peck. The firm's Managing Director is Sue Back.
