Yellow Pages or Social Networking? Are You Kidding?

The other day I was reviewing the marketing expenditures for a client and found they were spending over $10,000 for Yellow Page ads. When I asked "what is the return on this investment" I got a blank stare and then the response, "well we didn't get any new business from it, but we have to be in there because our competitors are." The biggest lie in marketing is "We just need to get our name out there". There is a better way!
