The mission of our Children's Ministry is to plant seeds in the hearts of our children to learn and to know what it is to be a child of God, to experience God's love and grace even at their young age, to be a part of the body of Christ at New Life and know how to use their gifts and talents. To help them grow and develop the heart of a servant to be the future leaders of our church, community, and nation that God is calling them to be. Opportunity to help those in need in Guatemala
July Item:
Acetaminophen, Excedrin, Aspirin, Ibuprofen
Kelly Saylor, Lisa Saylor and Sherry Newton will be going to Guatemala in a few months on a medical mission trip. They have a long list of things that they would like to gather for their trip. Each month, we will ask you to bring a few of these items and place them in a basket near the door to the Sanctuary. |

If you are planning on driving the church van, you must first watch a short video class and take an on-line test as well as printing out a certificate of approval. |

This is the message of Crocodile Dock VBS this year. Where fearless kids shine God's light. We are in full swing with preparations for VBS this year and we want you to be a part of it. You are guaranteed to receive many blessings and have a lot of fun along the way! We need MANY volunteers to make this successful. So come join us July 6-10th 9:00a.m. to 12 noon. YOUTH WEEK AGENDA
Sign up for the week of events!!!!
Youth Weekend will be held July 22nd - July 26th. Youth Caravan from Auburn Wesley Foundation is coming to spread God's light through songs, educational programs, games and fellowship. We will need the help of our congregation in a few areas. Please take a look at the events and what is needed for each event. The weekend works best with a food organizer for each event. Melinda Dixon has graciously volunteered to organize and prepare the main course for the Lake Party, drinks and desserts need to be brought. I still need organizers for the other events, and I know the organizers will need help preparing the food, as well. If you are able to help with food or with needed items listed below, please send an email to Milanda at milanda@nehp.net. Youth Weekend Events: July 22nd-26thNeeded: One family to host either the girls/guys of Youth Caravan for Thursday and Saturday nights. (The Robinson's have volunteered their home already!) Wednesday, July 22nd: Six Flags Over Georgia Needed: Chaperones and adult drivers
Thursday, July 23rd: Pool Party (Eddleman's)& Dinner/Opening Program (Church) Needed: Dinner Organizer
Friday, July 24th: Lake Party (Chandler's) & Lock In (Church) Needed for Lake Party: Boats and Jet Skis, Chaperones, Grillmeister, desserts, plastic cutlery for meals Needed for Lock-In: Chaperones
Saturday, July 25th: Softball Party (Grant Park) & Dinner/Closing Program (Church) Needed: Softball Organizer, Dinner Organizer
Sunday, July 26th: Youth Sunday
There will be a sign-up sheet on the bulletin board outside the fellowship hall with details of each event. All youth and chaperones should sign up for EACH event. Most events need a parental consent form. Youth Weekend will be a great kick-off to a new year. Join us as we Empower a New Generation of Christians!
