This publication is an extension of our company - a resource that helps productions and filmmakers find all the goods and services they need for their shoot, and to keep New Mexico film pros, film supporting businesses and residents up to date in what's happening in their backyard.
It's also a great way to deliver information on resources available as you consider shooting in New Mexico, are already on the ground in production or if you're looking to network with other film-supporting entities.
We'd like to welcome Elixir Studios to ABQ - the newest addition to the NM film family. Three thousand square feet of studio space, just north of downtown Albuquerque. A great resource and destination for projects big and small. Check 'em out!

The product of renowned photographer Robert Reck, Elixir offers two bays with unobstructed shooting space, 14' ceilings, and a two-wall cyclorama. They have a separate daylight studio, hair and makeup stations, equipment rentals, wardrobe area replete with racks, steamer, mirrors, and stereo system and kitchenette.
They're conveniently located near prop houses and support services, provide ample free parking, and can assist you with catering and other production needs.

USA Network's In Plain Sight get's picked up for a 3rd season tho we don't have word yet if they'll be back to shoot in New Mexico. . . The new Elixir Studios provides the NM film, media, and advertising world a great and welcome studio setting close to downtown ABQ. Cool, hip, best place we've seen so far. . . Breaking Bad is apparently going to need 30,000 extras for the coming shooting season. . . No official word on the proposed Santa Fe Studios project - stay tuned. . . Las Cruces and film liasion Bill McCamey working double-time to bring production to southern New Mexico. . . The "highest house" in all of Albuquerque is now open as a film location and A-List accommodation. . . Online poll in Variety.com ranks New Mexico as 3rd best place in the country to film (after LA, then NY). . . "Paul," starring Simon Pegg wraps shooting in New Mexico. . . All Star Catering is cooking up on both the Breaking Bad and MacGruber sets - look for their big BBQ/smoker in tow. . . "Gamer" starring Gerard Butler, was filmed in downtown Albuquerque and opens September 4th. . .
