Thank you so much for allowing me to serve as President of NAPO-DFW for the past two years. I started out as Marketing Assistant, moved to Vice President, and then to President, and have enjoyed working with the Board to grow our association to 50+ members, putting us in the Large category according to NAPO National! Our Corporate Associate Membership has also grown in the last year and will continue to grow as we build more relationships with vendors that connect to our industry. I am proud and thankful to have spent this time with NAPO-DFW.
Patty Bareford takes over as President of 2012/13 NAPO-DFW in our May meeting. You can read about Patty in the Member Spotlight section of this newsletter. In addition to the information provided there, she has attended conference 4 times and volunteered with us in this year's Get Organized event. I have enjoyed getting to know her and feel completely confident that she and this new Board will take NAPO-DFW to new heights!

GO Month a HUGE Success! |

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU to the many volunteers who helped make it possible for us to award two grand prizes!
In addition to donations from our Corporate Associate Members, we had a record number of sponsors for this event. We are so grateful for all contributions! Our sponsors were featured on a banner displayed at both locations, shown here with our kitchen volunteers!
One particular sponsor did not receive a lot of pre-event recognition, but they donated in a huge way--The Container Store. Here you can see the volume of their donation!
First up was Bill Viverito of Frisco who won the Home Office Makeover. Here is Bill's office "before":
"Paper, Paper Everywhere!" was a befitting description for Bill's office. But after two days with our volunteers and an amazing custom-build from California Closets Dallas, Bill now has this:
The next morning, Bill sent an email to the GO Month Committee Co-chairs,
"Thank you all. I couldn't sleep last night, kept going back to make sure it was real. God Bless y'all!"
The Kitchen Makeover was awarded to Kimberly and Kevin Ball of Arlington. Here is their kitchen "before":
The tricky thing about the Ball's kitchen is that you don't see the problem areas outwardly as they are found in their very difficult cabinet space. However, a few NAPO-DFW Volunteers and voila!
Kimberly wrote this about her kitchen makeover:
"I absolutely love my newly reorganized kitchen. It is so much easier to keep clean and tidy because there is room for everything and it makes sense! The Shelf genie pullout shelving is fantastic; I feel like I have gained so much more storage space. Thank you NAPO-DFW. We are now you're biggest fans!"
Thanks again to all who volunteered!

IMS Relocation
IMS Relocation began serving the moving needs of the Dallas Fort Worth Metro area in 1991 and now handles local, long distance, and international moves. We have expanded our businesses to include Best Price Boxes and SAM Store and Move. Our Best Price Box stores sell new and used boxes and packing materials at discounted prices. With our SAM Store and Move business, we are able to provide portable storage for those "do it yourself types." These containers can be dropped at most any location to be loaded and then moved to another location or stored at our facility. We are owned and operated by Mike Lohner and Chris Moucka. They started the business with a strong dedication to quality and honesty. Both men are from the Dallas area and are directly involved with their Dallas TX movers on a daily basis. Mr. Moucka is past chairman of the household goods for the Southwest Movers Association representing the states of Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Louisiana.
At IMS Relocation, we are professional Dallas movers who strive to provide the best services available in the Dallas moving and Fort Worth moving markets. To accomplish this, we develop a personalized move plan for each client. We believe that implementing the correct plan enables us to provide the highest quality of service. As professional Dallas/Fort Worth Movers we handle everything from planning the move, providing the necessary packing materials and moving your possessions with care. We also handle auto transportation services for those autos that need to be relocated as well as storage before or after the move. As local Mayflower movers in Carrollton, Texas, serving the Dallas, Texas Metroplex, we have helped thousands of local families and businesses relocate. After all the years of hard work, we pride ourselves as being known as trusted local, long distance, and international movers.
